Rainy Days Preparation

These past few days, I have observed that our weather was very unpredictable. When I woke up this morning, it was kind of cloudy and now it was so hot! And just two days ago, I woke up in my afternoon nap and found out that it was raining. I am very sure that in no time, rainy season will soon be here. I don’t like rain that much; I think it is very messy when it’s raining. When I was a student, I was really having a hard time going to school especially when there’s a storm and classes were not yet suspended.

What I am doing now is getting our house repaired for our preparation for upcoming storms because the news said that there will be stronger storms and typhoons compared last year. I just want to be ready as early as possible so advice to everyone to do the same thing.

Public Market: Keep It Clean

If we have concern about the betterment of our town, we should keep our public market clean and organize because this is where we buy almost every food that we eat. Don’t let garbage be everywhere because they can contaminate the raw foods near them. Just like what we have seen yesterday, the place where they sell “ICE” is just 3 steps away from the place where they dispose their garbage and it really smelled so awful! So imagine those people buying their ice to put on their drinks and selling it to other people. And not to mention, the ice is just on the floor.

I think it is not only the local government’s responsibility to keep our public markets clean, it is the people that are primarily liable on keeping it organized. Those rules and regulations imposed are useless if we don’t follow them. We should remember that what we see around us reflects who we really are.

Repairs

Amidst our busy lives, we should always find time for some things that really needs attention. Just like our chores, checking our emails, cleaning our rooms, changing our sheets and maybe getting our clothes repaired. Yes you read it right, repairing our clothes.

Have you ever noticed some of your clothes having a little bit of damage or a little ripped off? These little damages may not be that noticing but we should not take them for granted. From the time that we have noticed them, we should immediately sew them so to keep our clothes free from “holes”, well if you know what I mean.

Repairs are not only for damages, you could also repair clothes that are out of style. These could give your clothes a new look, and for me it is also a form of recycling.

Proper Care for your Clothes

Clothes are one of our basic needs. It gives our body protection from the weather outside and gives cover to the different parts of our body that needs to be hidden. We also have to have set of clothes that are appropriate to different seasons and occasions.
