Summer time again! Rainy season is over and your jackets go into storage, here are some tips that will keep your jackets look crisp.
1. Special care are needed by most jackets: Keep out of direct sunlight; Hang on a suitably strong wooden hanger, better if the buttons are fastened.
2. Belt’s jacket must be removed and hung through the hanger loop.
3. Follow the cleaning instructions indicated. Dry clean only those jackets or trenches made of heavy materials, especially before storage. While they should never be washed in a machine, most coats can be tumble-dried if you’ve been caught in a heavy downpour.
4. Remove jackets immediately from the washer and hang them up as soon as possible to prevent unsightly wrinkles.
5. There is no need to worry about bad smells if you just follow all the care instructions. You can try deodorizing your closet instead.
