This is only one of the common excerpts in the speech of every aspiring politician he/she would probably say in a “miting de avance”. These are some of their classic ‘promises” One way of revealing and knowing the platforms of these aspiring politicians is to attend meting de avance a side from their TV and print advertisement. We are carried away by their desire for change for which we believe that he/she is the right person we are waiting for to save us from poverty, illiteracy, unemployment and their irresponsibility’s and lack of opportunities that make our nation suffer and crawl in pain. Some would call them saviors. Presidential elections legislative election and local election in the Philippines are scheduled to be held on May 10, 2010. Days pass so fast and we are experiencing how the upcoming election affects our daily lives as Filipinos. The election symbolizes new hope and the event we are all waiting for. It is being talked about whether in news, in prints or in gossips of neighbors and friends. Philippines Presidentiables have one common goal in mind; to sit in the biggest chair in malacanan and to help Filipino people improve their lives. In this modern time, technology seems to be a great help especially for this coming election. From automated machine, television advertisement, there are various websites in the internet to help the voters choose the right leader who fits for the position in public offices. How ever, we must all be united for our common dream- it is to bring Philippines into a competitive habitat against global economic crisis and ensure development in our country. The bottom line is, CHANGE is all we need. And change begins in every Filipino. If these politicians promised that we count on them, then this country would also count on us.

Care For Your Coat

Summer time again! Rainy season is over and your jackets go into storage, here are some tips that will keep your jackets look crisp.
1. Special care are needed by most jackets: Keep out of direct sunlight; Hang on a suitably strong wooden hanger, better if the buttons are fastened.
2. Belt’s jacket must be removed and hung through the hanger loop.
3. Follow the cleaning instructions indicated. Dry clean only those jackets or trenches made of heavy materials, especially before storage. While they should never be washed in a machine, most coats can be tumble-dried if you’ve been caught in a heavy downpour.
4. Remove jackets immediately from the washer and hang them up as soon as possible to prevent unsightly wrinkles.
5. There is no need to worry about bad smells if you just follow all the care instructions. You can try deodorizing your closet instead.
